The Challenge
According to recent UNESCO reports and studies by IIT Gandhinagar, India's educational system faces a critical mismatch between academic output and industry requirements. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) revealed that a significant majority of graduates lack essential soft skills required by employers.
India's technical education sector has rapidly expanded—from enrolling just 39,000 students in engineering courses in 2000 to 1.5 million today. Yet, alarmingly, 75% of technical graduates and over 85% of general graduates remain unemployable.
A Wall Street Journal analysis underscored this concern, noting: "India graduates millions, but too few are fit to hire." This is where CEHD steps in to bridge this critical gap.
Our Solution
To address this critical issue, the Centre for Excellence in Human Development (CEHD) was founded by visionaries Ms. Riddhi and Ms. Saumyaa. Our mission is to equip individuals with essential future-ready skills through personalized mentoring and structured training programs.
